Neurosensory Directors and Staff
All our clinical staff are members of their respective professional bodies and are required to undertake continuing professional education, and to abide by the Code of Ethics of those bodies.
Our team also works closely with our advisory medical specialists, all of whom are Ear, Nose and Throat doctors.
Our clinicians are supported by administration and our client care team, with oversight provided by a dedicated management team.
All the directors of Neurosensory are independent, and bring a broad range of expertise to the governance of the Company. From business, law and medicine, our directors are characteristic of the ethical and professional nature of Neurosensory.
Our Directors
Robert Baker joined Neurosensory in 2019 and possesses deep experience in providing assurance and leadership to Boards and management through external audit, internal audit, due diligence reviews and control reviews. Robert enjoyed a successful career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia, which included providing professional services to clients, leading PwC’s Brisbane Office, and being appointed to PwC’s Board of Partners. Robert is a Director of several ASX listed companies including ASX 100 listed Flight Centre Travel Group Limited. He also provides pro bono services to the Australian Catholic University and to the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation as a member of their Advisory Boards. He is also an active member of his local St Vincent de Paul branch. Robert holds a Bachelor of Business – Accountancy and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Fiona Evans commenced her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and qualified as a chartered accountant before gaining post-graduate qualifications in marketing. She then worked in greenfield roles with Queensland Rail, Brisbane Lions, ME Bank, Wunderman Cato Johnson (London), Avco Finance and GE Capital Finance. In 2009 Fiona established her own consultancy focussed on helping small businesses win new clients and maximising their efficiency. Fiona is a graduate member of the AICD and currently also acts as a non-executive director of Nortec Employment & Training Ltd and Lifestyle Solutions (Aust) Ltd.
Ian is a highly experienced senior corporate executive with a background in law. His career has included advisory, functional and line management roles across a broad range of industries, and extensive international experience as a general manager and CEO. Ian recently retired as the Group CEO of RACQ (The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland Limited), a position he held since 2006.
He is presently Chairman of the Global Mobility Alliance and Director of Racing Together Motorsport and the RACQ Foundation. He has previously been Chairman of Australian Motoring Services, and held Directorships at the Confederation of Australian Motorsport and Tourism and Events Queensland.
Dr Tony Parker is an ENT surgeon and a longstanding Director of the Company. His memberships include AMA, ASOHNS and he is the current Chair of the Mater Hospital ENT Department and Cochlear Implant Centre. Dr Parker practices in paediatrics and adults, providing public and private clinics and is renowned for his Cochlear implant expertise.
Dr Sherryl Wagstaff is a ENT Surgeon whose practice in Melbourne includes both paediatrics and adults. She is Medical Director at Epworth Eastern Hospital, part of Epworth Health Care Group. She is a Director of the Foundation For Surgery, the philanthropic arm of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and has an honorary research position at the Bionics Institute and is one of their clinical collaborators. She completed an MBA at the Melbourne Business School and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Nina Quinn was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in 2008. As a recognised leader in her field, Nina’s wealth of experience and strong track record of delivery has seen Neurosensory expand from a local Queensland business to one that stretches across the eastern seaboard with 24 clinics and over 60 ENT surgeon partners. In addition, under her leadership, Neurosensory successfully transitioned to a public (unlisted) company.
Prior to Neurosensory, Nina was the inaugural Clinical Director of Neuromonics Pty Ltd (2004-2007) and was integral in taking the venture capital start-up to its international launch. She has also held several senior management roles at Australian Hearing (1997-2003).
In addition to her role as Chief Executive Officer, Nina provides guidance to smaller commercial ventures through non –Executive Director capacity, and represents the broader Hearing and Health industry through various committees and task forces.
Nina has a MBA, and is a qualified Audiologist with a Bachelor of Science. She is also a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
